Keep it cool
Summer time fun is the best kind. You get to spend lots of time on the beach and having cook outs. There is no doubt that the summer social scene is amazing. However, the heat on your makeup is discouraging. There are several ways that you can eliminate the effects of the summer heat on your finished face.
Keep it cool: The simple act of storing your makeup in the fridge could impact the way it holds up in the heat. This is also a great way to keep yourself refreshed as you are applying it.
Powder uses: Using a loose face powder can be very helpful when it comes to keeping your makeup on in the warmer weather. Use a large brush and dust powder under your eyes and onto your lips before you apply any makeup.
Use waterproof products: By using products that are not susceptible to moisture you will eliminate the risk of your makeup running down your face.
Use plenty of moisturizer: Make sure that you use plenty of moisturizer during warm weather months. The sun and the heat can be very drying to the skin.
Getting that hot summer look
The warmer months give us an excuse to be a bit more daring with our makeup. The night life in the summer is incredible and what better time to try some fascinating new looks.
Hot colors: Try wearing some of the new and sizzling summer colors. Hot tones like coral and pink are great looks. Try some of the new aqua and teal colors on your eyes. You will be amazed at the attention you will get when you show off your dramatic new look.
Shimmer and shine: Let loose with all that glitters. Use glittering body sprays or shimmering body wash to give your skin that warm weather glow.
Do your nails: Try some of those amazing summer colors on your fingers and toes. Better yet, try a clean looking French manicure on both. If your hand is not very steady it is suggested that you get them done at the salon.
Take advantage of the warm weather months and look great while doing it. There is no need for your makeup not to look as fabulous in the summer time as it looks in the winter. In fact, it may even look better.
